Asset Magagement Work Group Durham
We arrange meetings to discuss current and future activities in the area of asset management, including
theoretical and applied research. While these meetings are initiated by staff from the Mathematics and
Engineering Departments, we aim to create a platform to link with all Durham staff who are interested
in this topic area.
Wednesday 12 February 2014, 13.00-14.00 (Maths, CM105)
Behzad Kazemtabrizi (Engineering) will present `Optimisation of Far Offshore Wind Farm Operation and Maintenance (O&M)
Strategies', followed by discussion.
Wednesday 26 February 2014, 13.00-14.00 (Maths, CM105)
Matthias Troffaes (Maths) will present `Common cause failure modelling', followed by discussion.
Wednesday 12 March 2014, 13.00-14.00 (Maths, CM105)
Frank Coolen and Louis Aslett (Oxford) will hold a tutorial on
`Bayesian inference for reliability of systems and networks using the survival signature'.
(This will take nearly the full hour, we do hope for lots of discussion and ideas for
research and applications after the meeting!).
