Goedbloed, Keppens and Poedts have recently released a new version of their textbook on Magnetohydrodynamics of Laboratory and Astrophysical Plasmas. The new version combines the two previously separate volumes into a mammoth 992-page tome.

I’ve yet to see the new version but the original books were unique in their mathematically thorough approach to MHD, and much recommended to those working in the subject. I look forward to reading the new version!

Rony Keppens has written a blog post about the new book here.
