BSc in Biology and ChemistryIn Year 1, it was pure "luck" that Economics timetabled (now the Mathematics prerequisite has stiffened a little) and in Year 2 the student choose to follow the BSc Joint-Honours path with an even split of the two subjects. Note that there was a little flexibility in Year 2 about the module taken which then determined the choices available in Year 3.Year 1 Core Chemistry 1A (CHEM1012) Single Mathematics A (MATH1561) Elements of Economics (ECON1011) Molecular Basis of Life (BIOL1071) Genetics (BIOL1111) Year 2 Core Chemistry 2 (CHEM2012) Structure and Reactivity in Organic Chemistry (CHEM2031) Animal Physiology (BIOL2351) Biochemistry (BIOL2381) Plant Physiology (BIOL2401) Year 3 Core Chemistry 3 (CHEM3012) Stress and Responses to the Environment (BIOL3491) Literature ReviewG (BIOL3451) Molecular Biology (BIOL2441) Advanced Organic Chemistry (CHEM3117) Practical Chemistry 3 - Organic (CHEM3127) General disclaimer:
