Stage 0
Party Invitation

Stage 1 (Inside)

  1. Labcoats & Lab specs & labels (1 | 2 | 3).
  2. Champions League Football (movie)
    Make up 12 cardboard pentagons and on each pentagon draw 5 lines connecting the midpoints of the edges to make a 5-point star.
    Get the children to colour in the stars and stick together with sellotape to make a champions league football.
  3. Marshmallow building challenge (movie) & Zome (movie)
  4. Lunch and a classic film: Donald Duck in MathMagic Land (movie)
  5. Science show included:
    The Levitron (movie), Euler's disk, Mirage 2000 (movie), Red Cabbage ph indicators (movie)

 

Stage 2 (Outside)

  1. Big Bubbles (movie)
    The day before clean out an old 16 litre vat of paint and make up a bubble solution.
    At the party make up wire-frames (possibly with intersections) to dip in and make big bubbles to fill in the gaps.
  2. Bicarbonate of Soda volcano (movie)
  3. Rocket (movie)
  4. Cornflour mix (movie)
  5. PVA Glue bouncy balls (movie)
  6. Alka-Seltzer Bomb (movie)
  7. Coke Fountains (movie: preparation | lid off | lid on with 6mm hole)

Stage 3
Items for the party bag include the PVA bouncy ball to take home, a glow stick, a small Rubik's cube bought from ebay plus a few sweets.
