Biography:

I came from DaLian, a very beautiful seaside city in northeast of China. I did my BSc in Mathematics at the Northeastern Normal University (China), and MSc in Quantitative Economics at Northeastern University of Finance and Economics (China). In October 1998 I started my PhD study in University of Durham under the supervision of Dr. Frank Coolen. In August 2002 I obtained my Doctor degree. I am currently a Research Associate in an EPSRC funded project entitled "Adaptive replacement and maintenance strategies based on nonparametric predictive inference", which is supervised by Dr. Pauline Coolen-Schrijner.
